We took part in two events over the Platinum Jubilee weekend. The Southill Jubilee Party on Friday 3rd June and the Wessex Folk Festival on Saturday 4th June. We held a dance workshop with audience participation at both events.
Southill Platinum Party
All groups who use Southill Hall were asked to participate to show what activities are available in the area. The weather was beautiful and there was a great family atmosphere on the day.
Our club held a dance workshop with easy dances and invited those present to take part. We were supported by a number of dancers from the club who made sure the many children that joined in had good instruction and a great time.
