Thursday 17th August @ 10am
Walk from the Springhead pub at Sutton Poyntz run by Pat. Approx 4 miles. A lovely walk up White Horse Hill, a stop at Margaret’s Seat and refreshments in the Springhead. The weather was perfect for walkers Pat, her friend Maggie, Rosie, Val B, Angie and 3 dogs.



Friday 21st July @ 10am
Jubilee Trail to Maiden Castle and loop back. Approximately 4.5 miles, some uneven terrain. Refreshments at Vivo Lounge, Brewery Square, Dorchester.
Nice walk, and a good turnout ( 6 people and 4 dogs). A change to the route made it a bit longer than expected and the clouds in the photos decided to produced sufficient rain to get us wet near the end of the walk. Vivo Lounge welcomed four soggy people and three soggy dogs entry for much needed refreshments.









Friday 7th July at 9.30
Upwey and the South Dorset Ridgeway. 4 miles / 6km, 2-3 hours. Easy, with a little climb at the start. Refreshments at Upwey Wishing Well.
Start Point: St Lawrence’s Church Car Park, DT3 5QE. Donation £1.
Lovely walk with great views and fantastic weather. Six walkers and four dogs took part. Pat (our reliable photographer) is only visible in one photo and it is a back view. Sorry Pat, we missed the opportunity with the cows!








Thursday 29th June 2023, 9.50am
Lorton Meadows walk. Pat lead the walk. Lovely weather for the 4 walkers and 4 dogs who took part. Refreshments at the Caddy Shack afterwards.



Wednesday 10th May 2023, 10.30am
Thorncombe woods. Caroline lead the walk from Kingston Maurward (top car park) to Thorncombe woods and back ending with a picnic at Kingston Maurward. The weather was kind to the 4 walkers and 3 dogs that joined the fun on the day. Mystery walker is Pat who didn’t make it on to any of the photos but is identified by Bonnie, the bonnie black dog 🙂






Monday 1st May 2023, 10.30am
Good turnout for the Osmington Mills walk. Glorious weather for the 13 people and 3 dogs that took part! Pat lead the walk, being her territory, and gave us some historic information en route. Refreshments were taken sitting in the sun at the Smugglers. A very enjoyable way to spend a bank holiday.









Friday 21st Apr 2023
Pirates Cove walk. The sun shone, the mud had dried up, the tide was almost out and the company was as entertaining as ever. Lovely walk from Pirates’ Cove by the Fleet Lagoon, followed by generous refreshments at The Fat Badger. Rufus and Bonnie were model pups!



Friday 7th Apr 2023
Much better weather for our circular walk today starting at Radipole Park small car park. We walked around the Lake, to the beach, and Lodmoor Country Park. The Caddy Shack provided a delicious brunch, before returning to Radipole Park. Pat, Val, Susan and Jackie joined Angie for the walk along with Rufus, Lottie and Bonnie. All had a lovely time.



Monday 13th Mar 2023
Another muddy Lorton Meadows walk with Caroline, John, Liz, Angie and dogs, Rufus and Tess. We ended up taking a different route as the cows were in a field on the planned route. We didn’t have time for refreshments. Just as well because the Caddy Shack was closed! A good walk considering 🙂

Unscheduled walk arranged as Humphrey and Tess are not available for the Lorton Meadows walk on Monday 13th March. Great walk and lovely refreshments at the Caddy Shack afterwards. We forgot about taking photos until we were back at the car park!


Monday 6th Mar 2023
Repeat of Bowleaze Cove to Redcliffe Point walk, past the PGL camp to the beach and back. Angie, Liz, Graham and Rosie and three dogs Rufus, Tess and Humphrey enjoyed a lovey walk followed by refreshments at the Lookout Cafe.



Wednesday 1st Mar 2023
Bowleaze Cove to Redcliffe Point walk, past the PGL camp to the beach and back. About 1-2hours, uneven terrain and steep steps. Derek and Sue joined Angie and Rufus for an enjoyable walk followed by refreshments at the Lookout Cafe.


Monday 27th Feb 2023
Dog walk over the Great Field towards Poundbury Hillfort with views from the Hillfort overlooking the water meadows. Great walk attended by 4 people and 3 dogs :-). Refreshments at Finca.


Monday 20th Feb 2023
Morning walk at Maiden Castle, Dorchester. Seven intrepid dancers and Polly the Collie completed our inaugural walk with no rain or mishaps. This was followed by refreshments at the Vivo Lounge nearby.
